Welcome! Let me introduce you to our new mudroom.
This room was originally designed to be the laundry room for the home. After moving the laundry down to the basement and working on the electrical and water lines, we were ready to start remodeling. We opened up the doorway, put up the shiplap wall, laid down new tile and trim and painted the walls to match the rest of the home.
After the room was ready, we started on some projects such as painting the lockers, building a shoe organizer and making some chalkboard art.
Then it was time to “move in” and make this room our official MUDROOM!
These lockers have saved our lives! It is so nice! Each of us have a locker to put our bags and jackets in. The extra locker either holds towels and water toys for the summer or winter gear for the cold season.
We have two extra hooks on the walls for guests who come over to be able to hang their jackets or purses.
But enough with all my jibber jabber… Let’s take a closer look, shall we??
So tell me.. Would you remove your laundry room to make a mudroom for your family?
Thanks for checking in!
xoxo
